IT Infrastructure Modernization

Ecogen operated with a 100% on-premises infrastructure, which had been in place for approximately six years and presented limitations for expansion, increased maintenance complexity, and communication challenges with its remote plants. The environment also required significant effort from the IT team to manage servers, backups, connectivity, and multiple vendors. PWS Cloud led the migration of Ecogen’s infrastructure to a managed private cloud, maintaining its existing systems while adding backup, disaster recovery (DR), DBA, infrastructure support, and monitoring services. The migration was prepared through virtual machine replication and completed with a final cutover of approximately two hours, ensuring business continuity and greater availability across the company’s 52 plants.
